I waited and waited and waited and sent inquiries and called customer service… Absolutely NO RESPONSE from seller to my inquiries or those of Amazon.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! HE WILL NEVER RESPOND AND YOU'LL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Took Amazon a MONTH to even let me file a claim, and then it was "a one time exception as a favor"… sheesh!

It takes a month before you can file a claim, three more days after that to actually be able to enter it online, two days after that before you get email confirmation, and two weeks after that before you get your money back… Is that what you call a "guarantee"? Uh huh. Thanks for a nightmare, Amazon.

It cost me almost TWICE as much to buy a last minute replacement and who knows if Amazon will step up to the plate and pay for the excess cost. Legally, it's known as the "cover price", which they are obligated to pay. We'll see. I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and that doesn't even count the hours it cost me to find and go shopping for the replacement. I lost time from work and my day was ruined. Thanks a lot, seller and Amazon.

I HAVE LOST TOTAL FAITH IN BUYING TEXT BOOKS ON AMAZON.

I'm mad as hell. Can you tell? ;-)

  3. S. Coutinho Says:

Being a little new to programming, I thought this book was for me. However, I was dissapointed. I have a good working knowledge of HTML… I had to refer to various other sources to learn…

Definitely not for beginners… Also the layout of text is just too complicated.

  4. Cynthia Franklin Says:

I borrowed this one from the library, and ended up purchasing a copy. This volume is even more useful and readable to me than the PHP for Dummies book!
    Rating: 5 / 5

  5. Kjell Inge Sandvik Says:

This is a very good book for those who take their first steps into PHP.

Intermediate and advanced users should buy something else.
