The first 44 mins are stanford uni course requirements and stuff don't wast your time.. Start the video at 44m20s and continue with rest of the series.. this is a fantastic series and a great introduction to the concepts of Java programing

suggestion! view lecture two as the first one. As a few comments have posted this lecture is explaining course content with the exception of explaining the first "bug" in a computer.
